RotaPlayer is an IPTV player and account platform. It does not provide IPTV channels, channel packages, or third-party media subscriptions. You should only connect sources that you are authorized to use.
1. Data we collect and process
RotaPlayer may process the following types of data to create your account, connect devices, synchronize preferences, and provide application features:
- Name and email address
- Account and profile information
- Device or other identifiers and device-pairing information
- Favorites, watch history, playback progress, and app activity
- Preferences such as theme, language, audio, and subtitles
- Xtream or M3U IPTV source configurations added by the user
- Subscription, license, and access status
- Technical records required for security, error prevention, and abuse prevention
2. IPTV sources and information you provide
Xtream or M3U source information is provided by the user. It may be processed to connect to the source, build the catalog, enable playback, and synchronize supported devices. Source credentials may be stored securely when required for the service to function. RotaPlayer does not own or provide those sources.
3. Media playback and content traffic
Where technically possible, video, audio, subtitles, logos, posters, and similar media data are obtained directly between your device and the IPTV/content provider you configured. RotaPlayer is not designed to act as the primary media proxy.
4. Why we use data
We may use data for app functionality, account management, device pairing and security, resume playback, favorites, profile and preference synchronization, support communications, and fraud/abuse prevention. We do not use personal data for advertising targeting and we do not sell personal data to advertisers.
5. Subscriptions and payments
RotaPlayer does not store full payment card numbers or store payment credentials. For purchases made through Google Play, Microsoft Store, or other supported payment channels, the payment provider processes payment data under its own policies. RotaPlayer may process limited transaction data such as purchase tokens, product IDs, subscription status, renewal/expiry information, or entitlement status to verify purchases and enable account access.
6. Data sharing
RotaPlayer does not sell personal information to advertisers. Data may be processed on a limited basis by hosting, email, security, or store-verification providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate the service. Media and authentication traffic with an IPTV provider connected by the user is part of the user's direct interaction with the selected source.
7. Security
RotaPlayer account passwords are protected using one-way password hashing. Appropriate technical and organizational safeguards are applied to authentication tokens, device identifiers, and synchronized sensitive configurations. Data in transit between supported clients and RotaPlayer services is protected using HTTPS/TLS.
8. Data retention
Data required to operate the service may be retained while your account remains active. After a verified account deletion request, associated user data is normally targeted for deletion within 30 days. Security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained for up to 90 days where necessary. Limited payment, subscription, accounting, or legally required records may be retained for up to 10 years where applicable law requires it.
9. Deleting your account and data
You can initiate an account deletion request using the page below. Temporarily disabling an account is not a substitute for deletion. Except for limited records that must be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations, data associated with the account is deleted.
10. Your choices
Some collection features, such as watch-history recording, can be disabled in application settings. When disabled, new playback progress or history may not be recorded. Certain data required for account and device security is mandatory for the service to function.
11. Children's privacy
RotaPlayer is a general-use IPTV player and account platform. The app's age suitability is determined according to the age-rating systems of the relevant app stores. Where personal data relating to children must be processed, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable law and relevant platform policies.
12. Content and parental supervision
RotaPlayer is not a content provider and does not select, edit, or control the content of third-party IPTV or media sources connected by users. Users should only use sources they are authorized to access. Assessing the suitability of content accessible to children or minors and providing appropriate parental supervision is the responsibility of the account holder or legal guardian.

This policy may be updated when product features, legal requirements, or data-processing practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
